ECOShift

We are very excited to announce the launch of our new ECOBlog.  The ECOBlog allows you, our visitors, to read all content in blog format and to review comments posted by our registered users.  Want to post your own comments and join in on the fun?  Registration is simple and free and allows you to join in on the information and knowledge sharing by posting comments on content in the ECOBlog.  Vote for your favourite articles and learn more about the environment from the comments posted by other visitors to our site.

The ECOBlog is the first of many new features that are planned for launch this year.  All of the new features and functionality are focused on improving your experience while visiting our site and increasing the educational value of your experience here are ECOShift.  We strive to make our site your first choice to learn and share information associated with environmentally technologies and solutions. 

If you haven't already, now is a great time to create an account on the ECOShift website and become a registered user.  Just click on the create an account link in the Login module in the sidebar of the ECOShift website.  Enter your information and look for the confirmation email in your email account so you can confirm your email address and activate your account.  By registering you will be able to join in on the content discussions by posting comments, and you will be ready to take advantage of new features and functionality as it becomes available in the future.

Using the ECOBlog

Using the ECOBlog is simple and fun.  Anyone can read the content posted on the blog simply by clicking on the ECOBlog menu item in the main site menu. 

Once you are in the ECOBlog you can read any article simply by clicking on its title.

To find articles of interest in a specific topic area just click on the key word located in the Tags module on the right hand side of the site.

To see the latest posts in the ECOShift blog you can click on the article of interest from the Latest Entry module on the right hand side of the site.

Posting a comment is fun and easy.  If you have not created an account on the ECOShift website you will need to do this first.  It's simple.  Just click on the "Create an Account" link in the Login module on the right hand side of the screen and enter all the information requested on the "Registration" page.  After you have received your account confirmation email be sure to click on the link provided within the email to activate your account.  Now, return to the ECOShift website and log-in in to your newly created account using your username and password.

Adding a comment to content within the blog is simple. Just open the Blog entry you wish to add a comment to and fill in the comment information fields at the end of the content item itself.  Click on the Add Comment button to submit your comment right before your eyes.  It's that simple.

IMPORTANT:Please note that the ECOBlog has been provided to allow users of the ECOShift site to benefit from online communication of information relevant to the blog posts and our site content.  Anyone who is posting comments with inappropriate/unrelated content, links, and/or language (thus abusing the Terms of Use conditions) may have their account suspended at our discretion.
