
To Repair Small Isolated Holes
- Make a small cut in the channel of the panel on each side of the hole.
- Make a small cut across the hole
- Smooth off the ends of the splicer and insert into the open ends of the tube
- If the hole is larger, it is possible to make a larger splicer with a scrap piece of panel and two splicers.
- Make a splicer to fit by cutting out a tube from a scrap piece of rubber in the proper length, and insert splicers in each end.
- Remove the damaged tube from the panel and insert the splicer.
Header Replacement
Disconnect Headers by removing Black Clip, install orange clip tool and pull headers apart.
- Remove Rubber by gently prying rubber off the header using a flat head screwdriver.
- Re-Attach rubber by dipping ends of rubber into warm soapy water and pushing onto the header.
- When connecting different versions of headers cut of locator tab
- Reconnect headers first by lubricating the O-ring with O-ring lubricant (white lithium grease, then use the orange clip tool to slide the headers together and secure with a black clip.
